Core file processing occurs locally in your browser. We do not upload, store, or have access to your files during these operations. Some optional features may use third-party services with your consent.
3. User Accounts
Some features require an account. When creating one, you agree to provide accurate information, maintain credential security, update information if it changes, and accept responsibility for all account activity. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
4. Free and Pro Plans
Free Plan
The free plan provides access to basic image compression features with certain limitations, including file size limits and batch processing caps. Free users may see advertisements.
Pro Plan
The Pro plan offers enhanced features including higher file size limits, larger batch uploads, ad-free experience, video/audio/3D processing, AI upscaling, and priority processing. Billed monthly or annually.
Billing and Cancellation
- Pro subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- Cancel anytime through your account or the Stripe portal
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
- Refund requests are reviewed case-by-case
- We may update pricing; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
- Failed payments may result in loss of Pro access
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use File Optimized to:
- Process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Attempt to hack or compromise our systems
- Use automated systems to abuse the service
- Circumvent usage limits or restrictions
- Resell or redistribute the service without permission
6. Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain all rights to the files you process using File Optimized. We claim no ownership over your content.
Our Content
The File Optimized website, brand, logo, and underlying technology are owned by TLIU Studios and protected by intellectual property laws.
7. Disclaimers and Limitations
"As Is" Service
File Optimized is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TLIU Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
File Processing
We cannot guarantee specific compression ratios or quality outcomes. Results may vary. Always keep backups of your original files.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TLIU Studios, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes shall be resolved informally first, then through binding individual arbitration. You waive any right to class action participation.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post notice of significant changes. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access immediately for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to users, us, or third parties. Provisions that by nature survive termination remain in effect.
